Archibald is the product of attempted peace between a steampunk and high tech faction. They weren't happy with him, and threw him into the void of space, where he eventually landed on earth. Because of this he's quite temperamental, but don't mistake him for some raging asshole or anything. He's just going through a lot right now. There's more going on underneath that rusty shell and within those beating organs than you could possibly imagine.
